This aggressively-styled axe boasts high-end specs - including a mahogany body and a set of EMG 81/85 pickups - and draws immediate attention, spitting powerful distortion with fat pinch harmonics. Solid tuning stability is assured by a TonePros TOM-bridge and stopbar in combination with Grover-made machine heads, and since good taste is always a plus, Schecter have gone with mahogany bevels, a sleek matte black finish and satin black hardware to match.
The Wylde Audio Blood Eagle: Built On Experience
Packing decades of experience playing with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society, Zakk Wylde knew exactly what he wanted out of the Blood Eagle, opting for a 3-piece C-profile maple neck and an ebony fretboard finished with a 14" radius and twenty-two extra jumbo frets. The result is an instrument that effortlessly handles both beefed-up rhythm parts and leads played at the speed of light while navigating the frets is eased by large pearloid blocks.
